No — the SSD isn't included, so you can choose your own capacity. Memkee Home uses a standard M.2 2280 NVMe SSD (available at most electronics retailers), supporting up to 8TB.
For a family of three, 8TB can usually hold around 15 years of family photos and videos. Actual capacity depends on file size, video quality, and how often your family records videos. Families who shoot a lot of 4K video may need more space over time.
Not at all. Simply remove the back panel to expose the SSD slot, then insert the drive — no tools needed.
AI Creative Studio features use a credit system. Every user receives 1,000 free credits to explore different AI creative tools. Once credits are used up, additional credits can be purchased. Only selected photos used in AI Creative Studio are processed in the cloud. Pricing is always shown clearly before each use.
This device includes a camera module, reserved for optional features we may introduce in the future. Today, it is disabled at the system level: no app, no AI feature, and no remote service can activate it, and it records nothing.
If we ever introduce a camera feature, it will always be off by default and will only turn on with your explicit consent. Your frame will never watch you without your knowledge.
